We would also like to help little James come up with an appropriate medical diagnosis. He has been affected since birth without ever having been diagnosed with medical conditions and given any medical or developmental assistance.
The public health situation in Malawi is catastrophic, there are virtually no specialists, and the MMM Nursing Center lacks the equipment and properly qualified staff for such eamination. In addition, the family is so poor that even with regard to food, it depends on the help of the sisters. We would like to allow the toddler, along with his mother, to travel to nearby South Africa or Zimbabwe, where appropriate examination would be made and possible therapy suggested.
In our estimation, this would require at least $ 3,000.
Thank you so much to anyone who is willing to help you with this – especially on behalf of James and his mother.
